I'm interested in where and how you 'lost' 5k. I can see them upgrading you at 2k left. The website says you don't have to complete every single mile, but not at 7k left. Seven thousand if closer to 10k. Two thousand is closer to zero.
I'm going home at the end of the week and will, should, have 1622 left. I'm wondering when I drive myself back to the yard will they put me on a third trainers truck to finish that last 1622 miles? Seems to me a waste of time and money. That's one round trip. Two days tops.
And... Just like that....

Look at your statements. Our paystubs have all the miles we've ran, loaded and unloaded. This is what they should be going by.
It's kind of easy for me, because when I got on this truck it was brand new, with only 250 miles on it. It now has 24.5k on it. I got on the truck with 3k under my belt. It's 2.6k back to my house. That should be it right there. But going only by my statements, I'll have 1622 left. Dispatch should be confirming tonight.texasbbqbest Thanks this. -
According to the statements I have 2k left. They are adamant about 7kdarthanubis Thanks this.

Well, I wouldn't worry. You have it in black and white that they must be mistaken. BTW, I'm using the app to count the miles dispatched that we've yet to be paid for, last week on this coming pay, and this week showing on next pay. I hope you didn't delete those load assignments in your app.

I'm sure it all adds up then. Hell, you didn't upgrade yourself. Someone else's bad or they will prove it isn't. If they don't want you upgraded right now it can't be for miles if you have proof you ran the miles. The fleet manger who authorized your upgrade has done answering to do, not you IMHO.texasbbqbest Thanks this.

I do agree that he is getting jerked around. He has a lot invested there, and such. But you can't stand your ground if you're running away. It's kind of hard to expect these companies fix their selves, if we cut and run at every injustice, both real and imagined. We need to start staying put and demanding from up close and personal that they get their act together. All quitting does is make companies turn the revolving door faster. And OP, I wasn't implying you are imagining that you are being treated unfairly. But, in this industry, there are probably as many drivers who quit over imagined slights, than real ones.rachi, texasbbqbest, darthanubis and 1 other person Thank this.

Man I sure hope I don't average 3k a week with a trainer, that's not nearly enough. I'm hoping for 5k+, hopefully in the 6k range pretty quickly. I want to get out of that truck and into my own!texasbbqbest Thanks this.
