I thought trucking was traveling the country, getting paid (big $$$) etc. What's this big brother mindset everyone's talking about ? A mechanical piece of equipment dictating to the driver ? So the truck controls you ? ? ? Say it ain't so !
Hello to all of you good people , I understood the "monkey paw" . If you put goodies in a jar that a monkey can get his empty paw in but cannot get a filled paw out, he is stuck with that jar until some other unrelated occurrence causes him to let the goodies in the jar go and his paw is released. Never heard of a money paw. What does that mean? I did google it first and google came back with "monkey" paw. Stay Safe Always
It may, but it screams "set brakes" warnings until you set the brakes. The normal cruise+up idle doesn't work either. I've wedged stuff on the through and brakes to keep them slightly pressured, but that doesn't work either. I wrapped hand warmers on the ambient temperature sensor and that doesn't work either. I've read pulling the ECM fuse may roll back the update, but I doubt it. The only way I can think of is having my bunk heater go out on negative temperatures and calling again for more idle. I have a decent relationship with the shop guys at my home terminal, they may do it. Or I could just get a pet and they will remove it no questions asked.......
Dang you gotta have an animal in your truck just to be comfortable. That's unacceptable. Thise are the types of things that make drivers consider making a change.
