This one is at the intersection I run through every night. Lights put up last year, still waiting on parts to complete. Sad. Humboldt 2.0.
""Brandon Police Service would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones affected by the fatal collision that occurred yesterday.
On May 27th, 2026, at 3:20 p.m., Brandon Police Service and Brandon Fire & Emergency Services attended to a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 110 and Richmond Avenue East. The investigation to this point has determined that a northbound semi-truck, driven by 35-year-old male Brijpal Panwar, failed to stop at the stop sign while approaching the intersection. The semi proceeded through the intersection at highway speeds and collided with a westbound SUV occupied by a lone 49-year-old female driver. The force of the collision then caused both vehicles to collide with a secondary parked semi-truck that was facing southbound stopped at the intersection.
Upon arrival, first responders pronounced the 49-year-old female deceased at the scene. Her next of kin has been notified.
Neither semi-truck driver appeared to have any significant injuries. The driver of the northbound semi-truck has been taken into custody at Brandon Police Service and is awaiting court, which is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 28th, 2026. He was arrested for Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
Brandon Police Service is requesting that anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash camera or video footage from the area at the time of the incident to please reach out to the Traffic Unit at 204-729-2345.""
And yet…. Another one. Really bad fatality.

People of Canada, when is enough enough already? Absolutely every one of these stinkin rag heads needs to be rounded up and deported, not only truck drivers, but the ones that own the trucking companies , the ones that bought up all the driver training schools so they can rubber stamp their people through, the ones that bought the towing companies, the ones that bought the truck stops and fast food restaurants, every one of them are nothing but criminals, get them out of this country before people get pushed too far and things get ugly, and I’d say we’re not far from that point.
gokiddogo, reeferwrencher and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
I haven’t been through there in a decade but I seem to remember a larger stop sign at the intersection

Sorry Bubba this country ain't done gettin screwed over yet. There's more to come.

One of them flopped a truck over in a roundabout in BC yesterday. Almost a full kilometer of visibility leading up to it with signs and all yet it still managed to jump out of nowhere apparently.

I turned at this intersection shortly before this happened. Coworker who wasn’t long behind me was forced to detour around it.
Apparently the at-fault carrier didn’t have operating authority in Manitoba. (It’s Safety Certificate was revoked).
And I was reading there was yet another semi truck crash today at this same intersection. -

Agreed but it"ll never happen. It's far too late for canadastan.
