Yeah that's how Ashley does it. I just plugged in my fuel card for payment on the CAT scale app. If I can't use a CAT scale then I pay cash and they'll reimburse me.

Made it! Rolled in late, because of the delays at the shipper and L.A. traffic, but they got me in right away—no waiting, no hassle. Gotta love when that happens!

Unloading now, then it’s a smooth deadhead back to the DC. Easy money, just how I like it!

No lie, I remember when CAT Scales were five bucks and gave you trading cards. (Yes, I'm so old I fart dust.)

You couldn’t slide your tandems to distribute the weight a little better

    atruckr Thanks this.

No, I'm in California can't go back past the 40' mark. I had room to slide it one notch but that wasn't going to make up $1,500 lb. Unfortunately.

    Speed_Drums and Knucklehead Thank this.

Took a run up to Boise, left behind that sweet 80° weather, and braced for the cold… but surprise! It wasn’t as bad as I thought—hung out in the ’40s, so no complaints there. Now, of course, Old Betsy decides she needs a Regen. Just what I wanted… a forced coffee break. :biggrin_25523:Ugh. Gotta love trucking! 20250222_172811.jpg
