I just like TB because I can restore application data as well, it's the only one I have found that does. And a nandroid backup only works if you want to go back to the rom you were using. I can flash a new Rom and get all my apps back in a cpl minutes. Saves a lot of time for me. Looked it up and adao looks just like astro file manager.. Sent from my TBolt using Tapatalk. That it does and the syndicate Rome I flash to have it preinstalled and it makes it that much easier to install the apps that I backed up
Do u flash different kernels with the roms you use or do you just stick with what's been cooked into the rom?
I'm always flashing different kernels, always looking to improve battery life and performance. I also just started trying to use a swap partition and have noticed a big improvement in speed as well. Sent from my TBolt using Tapatalk. Running Das Bamf 2.0 (aka Death Rom)
I decided to take the plunge and go Ginger. Installed dasBAMF 2.0 (my phone loves BAMF roms) and running smooth. The theory of the bricking at XDA is an off-brand eMMC chip. I don't have that chip, so I'm Ginger. WOOT!
Welcome to the dark side That's just their theory at this point, they haven't been able to prove it yet. But, yea, it seemed like it got a bit out of control, lol. I'm running Imoseyons lean kernel at this point, still playing with it though, heh Sent from my TBolt using Tapatalk. Running Das Bamf 2.0 (aka Death Rom)
Not to big on speed unless I want to overclock or undervolt my phone I just need stability and better battery life I've noticed for the epic4g proms with rfs ext4 With journaling off eat up more battery life have tried all different kinds of roms went from eb13 to d118 to dk28 now that sprint has the official ee03 gingerbread it hasn't been officially released yet I've seen leaks of the roms at xda but most of them are to buggy from what I read so for now ill stick with urban fury with genocide ec05 kernel by the way do u have the xda premium app? If not let me now
Just switched to Gingeritis. Seems smoother than BAMF 2.0. You've been-----\/\/\/\-----Thunderstruck!!! By a rooted ADR6400L
No, I Never used the xda apps.. I use Tapatalk to access my forums. Both TTR and xda Sent from my TBolt using Tapatalk. Running Das Bamf 2.0 (aka Death Rom)
You should try using Imoseyons kernel with Swap enabled. I might give that one a go myself though. Sent from my TBolt using Tapatalk. Running Das Bamf 2.0 (aka Death Rom)
