Calm down Victor, nobody is victimizing him. We just want to know the full story. Makes it a lot easier to offer advice when we know exactly what happened and aren't just speculating.

Besides, if anyone starts attacking the OP, they'll be dealt with. We will be nice until it's time to not be nice lol Roadhouse.

Yeah, it's fortunate for driver-bashers that I'm not a mod. Whoomph!

...make their heads spin how fast the door opened and left them at the side of the road.

Truck stop? No, you're getting out right here!

Driver bashers???????????????????????????? I really don't see that here. They just want the story so they can give their take on it or advice. What I see with you is a company basher.

Not even getting into it. There's a reason the op was fired, we will probably never know. That's SOP though to get the truck back. Can't blame them, trucks and trailers are expensive.

Besides,if drivers post on here for the world to see then they better plan on reading good and bad.We all jump to conclusions, some right some wrong.Thats what the forum is all about,an opionated debate. Some have too soft a skin and get very defensive when really all the other ppl are doing is talking. The op hasn't been back so we may never know what exactly happened that led to the firing.

Remember the "Boss Lady Trucking" thread...?? Got a story similar to this, And then got the WHOLE story....

It was a whole different deal when we heard the other side of it. I suspect this one to be the same

There's only one way to make an accurate assessment of cases where a driver was fired.
That is, to know all the facts (BOTH sides of the story). Anything less is putting horse blinders on.
Anyone who defends drivers at 100% level while condemning the company 100% of the time, chances are great,
they're making a seriously flawed viewpoint, just by avoiding knowing ALL the details.

If an OP's story is based on a significant detail (his 1st firing) then we have every right to "question" him/her on further details.
This in itself does NOT constitute any witch hunt, or slamming of the OP at all. Far from it & not even close!

Q.E.D. The above arguers and arguments prove my point!

Q.E.D. = Quod era demonstrandum = 'which had to be demonstrated'

Signifies the successful completion of a proof, mathematical, analytical or scientific.

Tag out on wannabe Sgt Fridays!!

Lots if drivers come here for help. The only way to help is to get the whole story.

OP is member since 2010. Driver for 1 year. This was the only post.

Im not saying the company is all lilly white here, however this math doesn't add up. Would have been nice to hear what the story was to get them back in the truck to deliver it to the company. They obviously knew where the truck was and Id tell them to get another "van" to come and get it.:biggrin_2556:
