Got time to stop and take a clear photo then got time to ease up and push the gate open just a bit more so it doesn't pull the chineese finger puzzle on the deer.

Try not to look it in the eye so it doesn't panic.

There's no "call my wife and ask her what kind of wine goes good with venison" choice.

I have more sympathy for animals that get themselves into these predicaments than I do for humans when they do dumb stuff.....

Google and find the number for animal control and let them deal with it.

Well if it were me and it panicked and booted me, I would probably be like hell with you and leave it there.

If not I'd try to get it out for a while but if proving futile I'd just have to wish it the best and leave. Whatever. I tried.

I'm a sap for animals. I like animals more than people. If it was panicking, it's def best to get animal control so they can sedate it if necessary.

Just try to look away and get to the middle vertical support of the gate to push it back. Even to turn around and push on it with your back. They will get skidish and start flailing around even when you aren't looking at them directly with your eyes. Just need to "rip off the band-aid quickly" before they can hurt themselves in panic.

It happens alot out west when they put up tall fences with no place to cross.
