If Baxter & Bailey say that Amazon has been settling @ 50% I would give it to them. Your 3300.00 isn't going to go very far up against Amazon.
I understand the principal of going all out, many times have spent more than I got back to prove a point.
You understand that you have to make every attempt to collect "up the ladder" before Amazon.

Right, no- I get you. What I was trying to say is that these dorks are the mid-link in the chain, not the bait for the broker on a carrier authority, if that makes sense.

So can you guys explain why their bond hasn't been canceled? It says the bond is "due for cancelation". I just don't get this. The only think I can think of is that they are planning to leave the business. Is there a way to find out how many claims are on their bond? I called the bond company and nothing but pre-recorded crickets. I swear, customer service in this country has really gone down the toilet. How did we reach this point?

    Feedman Thanks this.

I think I'm going to file on Amazon's bond as the first step. Before I do I will write to them. I found this MC #826094 for them. But there are a LOT of companies with Amazon as a name on the SAFER website. Do you think this is the one? They ARE headquartered in Seattle.

Bond company has to give a 30 day notice of cancelation. As soon as that happens it hits safer, carrier411, ect

    Feedman and gekko1323 Thank this.

You can't file on their bond. You have no contract/rate con or anything from them.

    Feedman and gekko1323 Thank this.

Is there a way to find out how many claims are outstanding?

Fed regs are the "shipper/receiver are responsible, that's why most have separate "brokerages". Just another step to get through before them.

dwells40, Feedman and gekko1323 Thank this.
