Try going through their website. Also read the reviews. Have never seen Hudson as a surety bond. Should have an e-mail for claims.

Well, the shipper was Amazon and the receiver was Amazon. I picked and dropped at their facilities.

But there are multiple entity's between "Amazon" and the carriers/brokers.

Go online to Hudson and file a claim by e-mail with receipt. Send a copy of the rate con and the date payment was due, according to King Heaven contract.
May take a few days but they should e-mail back their response, if the bonds exhausted, and when they will quit taking claims.
When they quit taking claims you will be notified on how much you'll receive. If not 100% then call Stuart @ B&B and turn the remainder over to them.

One last question though...shouldn't my factoring company be doing all this? I mean, I already got paid through them.

Why would they? They're not a collection agency, they just loan money at a high interest rate.
Just file on the bond. If you're lucky the claims are less than 75K and you'll get 100%

    gekko1323 Thanks this.

My advice would be to take what you can get on this particular load. 50% or whatever is better than nothing. Id try the demand letter route and filing on the bond but i wouldnt invest tons of time into it. File all the complaints on DAT, Google, and everywhere else you can so folks are aware of the shenanigans. The house looks like it was on HBO's the Wire, lol. So many #### scammers have popped since this pandemic its mind blowing. Theft is through the roof, double brokering out of hand, and the FMSCA, FBI, Interpol, the DOT, DAT, state legislatures, and everyone else dont seem to have the time, resources, or a care in the world to stop it.
