Another cdl driver does a u turn resulting in a fatality

    I was the one that mentioned skid marks in the other post. But I didn't suggest that there would be any in the other accident. I was just listing some of the evidence that investigators use to come to a conclusion about an accident.

    To your point, I've never minded the cameras, because I have nothing to hide. But you know what? I think cameras should then be mandatory on 4-wheelers. Do you know why? Because EVERY DAY I pass at least one 4-wheeler whose driver is texting, looking at his phone, or putting on makeup. Now, THAT law would cause an uproar.

    I don’t know that turn lane looks like it was meant to do uturns. I just think it’s a case of the trucker didn’t want to wait on the car or he misjudged the distance. I’m willing to bet the car was distracted also. Then again only time I’ve done a uturn on a highway is when the road was blocked off and the cop forced me to do a uturn. Better off finding a lot or pulling over and finding a road you can make a right and right then a left not worth the hassle everyone seems to drive like the law is magically not going to let them die in an accident.
