I see, because you ran out of hours, right? So your ICA was saying next time that happens, to send in a message letting them know you won't be able to make on-time delivery well beforehand?
-
Right because when you update your NAT after hours someone in the Philippines gets the message. In this case I updated my NAT at 2145, well in advance of my delivery appointment, but it did not get acknowledged until 0430, which was an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment.
I did what I was suppose to do, but they dropped the ball on their end. He wants the free form so he can see it the next morning and get to work on a solution instead of getting a call while at the customer saying they will not unload it and we have to reschedule. -
Do you mean ETA instead of NAT? I think that's what I'm getting confused about, I don't see how your NAT (just showing when you'll be available for your next load and the hours you have left) would be related (as far as SNI is concerned) with your delivery of that load. But it would make sense if you mean ETA, because then someone SHOULD HAVE seen your ETA being pushed out past the delivery appointment and that could have thrown up a red flag for them to reschedule. Of course they didn't until after the delivery appointment had already passed. I do understand the phone call or message part though.
Not trying to pick into your business too much, just trying to figure out the situation so I know how to handle it should that ever arise for me. -
Yeh my bad i'm tired. I meant ETA. Geezz. I need some sleep.
unloader Thanks this. -
Alright GOTCHA, lol. Well, glad they were willing to work with you. I think SNI seems to be pretty reasonable with stuff like that as long as you keep in communication with them. Obviously they held part of the responsibility with this situation as well, but even if they didn't I think as long as you are respectful and willing to work with them like you did, they will make an effort to work out a REASONABLE solution and not just stuff you with the fine.
-
I was glad he decided to let me relay it. That fine would have killed my net pay for this short week.
-
I hear ya on that.

Can you bring a small dog when doing the lease? I will ask Amy when I talk to her, but thought I would go ahead and ask here. I have many questions to ask her lol
-
It's your truck you can bring whatever you want.Drifter42 Thanks this.
