Haven't replied in a while, CW i thought I was the only one who had those what did you call them "dfo days" lol. I've had so many that my wife and I have a running agreement that I won't tell her if i'm coming home until i'm almost there because every time I do something happens and messes it up lol. But I have to say I haven't had the last couple of experiences you have talked about. A lot of that probably has to do with the fact that probably somewhere around 75% of what I do is repeat customers so it lowers that risk. That being said I'm currently on my way to laredo for the 1st time in the 2.5 yrs i've been here. the shipper was a familiar one but I couldn't pass up over 1300 miles at over $2 per mile. It will give me my best week yet when I drop tomorrow night over - $6500. Speedbuggy if I stayed out 2 months I wouldn't have a home to go to lol enjoy your time off.

I have a question, I have 6 months OTR exp. but not with SNI and the choice program looks to good to be true lol, how much exp does SNI require before I can lease a truck?

My cousin checked with them, they told her one year recent driving experience. I think I've heard pretty much the same - one year other than SNI, or 6 months with SNI.

When I leased on 2 1/2 yrs ago it was like mickimause said - 1 yr experience or 6 months with SNI, however you could not just lease on to the choice program unless you had prior exp as on o/o. If you had driving exp but not o/o exp they would let you lease on but you had to go on the mileage program for at least 6 mos so they could help you learn the ropes of being an o/o then so long as everything was going well they would let you switch over to choice. I don't know if that is still the process.

As I said earlier, I told my wife I would be back home on wed. and no we can't have that lol. I almost had my great week go out the window to begin with because I arrived in Laredo yesterday at 1545 and cust said I needed an interchange form, after calling dbl had to go to laredo 0C to have inspection done in order to get the form. By the time they got done customer was closed even though computer info showed 1730 as close time. After a couple of hrs on phone they got it ok for me to drop it at oc (which was 2.5 mi from customer) so I was able to pu my next ld off the yard. I left and started north only to find the interstate was closed at the immigration check, a truck ran into the back of another one buckled the trailer and spread freight all over the interstate and I'm assuming resulted in fatality. So I had to turn around and go back to truck stop because only had 1 hr left on 14. Left this morning and made it 55 miles and now am broke down on side of the road with 2 air lines broken from trailer brake chamber. Have been here 2 hrs and the repair truck from laredo still hasn't even left so it will be a long day.
