Another excavator hits bridge

We don't need the government sticking their nose in our business any more then they are now.

 

Are twic rates going down? My company hasn't bothered me about getting my twic for probably 4 months now.

 

They never really went up so to speak

 

Well just an update for those that care.... They put up a temporary bridge so most traffic is able to pass over again. Did not see any weight limit sign when we used it the other day in the car. Government agencies are not sure when they will have money in the budget to replace it permanent....

 

you mean they took the insurance money and gave themselves bonuses?

 

That is assuming the trucker had insurance.

 

I'm not even sure the insurance most trucks carry is enough to cover a whole bridge.

 

I'm sure Atkinson (the states "emergency contractor" [no bid]) used whatever there was +++++ for the temp repair. I got a notice from the state on that, I think there are load restrictions- like "no trucks" if I remember right.
