You keep changing your story, you said you told them it was wrong and you knew there was a problem to now saying you found out the problem later?
If you are so smart why didn't you fix it yourself? How was the problem fixed or what was the problem?
Stop talking down to people that are giving you honest answers

transmission sir.. respectfully
Read the entire story.. you’re not to bright ! -
Transmission would be grinding away the moment you left the shop if the ride height was wrong. Why would you not turn around and head back ASAP?

Do they teach drivers how to level out a truck when they are training for the CDL CLASS A LICENSE.. or does your pre trip inspection include looking at the levels of the truck ? Making sure nothing cracked bent or broken.. or did I get a mechanics license instead? Because the last time I checked I am a driver & not a mechanic.
and to the rest of you.. make sure you fix everything On your truck since you are so mechanically inclined.. don’t bother begging TA or the dealer for a #### thing.. not even to scan your codes..
feel me ? -

Well you got answers from at least 2 confirmed mechanics, a couple posters who possibly were mechanics at one point (and know their stuff IMO), 2 or 3 owner ops who for sure do their own wrenching and an owner of a large fleet. You're not getting advise from folks who just graduated CDL school last week.
Bean Jr., Siinman, lester and 1 other person Thank this. -

You keep saying “level out” a truck. Every suspension has a different ride height that it’s supposed to be. Find out the ride height for your specific suspension and measure it. It’s not something you can eyeball.
In one post you mentioned the truck was stretched. Who stretched it? Were the driveline angles checked after the stretch or did they just add a piece to the driveline?
In your original post you said you had TC lights coming on the truck was hard to handle. Why did you continue on the road at that point? Why didn’t you go back to the shop who did the work? In one post you said the bags were “obviously” stretched out. Why did you leave the first shop at all?
Leveling valves do fail while driving down the road. The first sign something isn’t right is the vibration you said you felt. The second sign would’ve likely been air bleeding out the leveling valve because the arm is extended down and it’s trying to bleed air to get it back to ride height, but the air goes into the bags faster than it can bleed off.
You’ve gotten good answers from many experienced mechanics and owner operators. There’s no need to call names and get defensive because the answers aren’t what you want to hear.Bean Jr., Siinman, Swine hauler and 1 other person Thank this. -
After your bags were replaced was the rod that connects the arm of the leveling valve to the axle all shiny and new like they had messed with it and replaced it? That’s about the only way to change the ride height other than your valve simply going bad.
