Same here. I have the FS591's on the steers and I have a set of Zenna DR850's as well from Southern Tire Mart and they are wearing nice as well with 50,000 miles on them so far.

Let me just say this about that. I'm an avid bike rider, and while it's the opposite end of the spectrum, it can still apply. The tires and tubes today all come out of Taiwan or China. After 4 flats in a month, I decided to do some research. It turns out, those tubes have a 65% failure rating, meaning 2 out of 3 are bad in the package. What really grinds my gears, is these people are making a living selling poor products. I think it's the same with truck tires. Now, more than ever, you get what you pay for. ALL the major tire companies have plants in Asia, the #1 selling tire, Bridgestone, is based out of Japan. Oh sure, I can get "better tires", for FIVE times the price, and no guarantee they are actually 5 times better.
Oh, another thing, I bought Michelin wiper blades, thinking, hmm, Michelin, good name,,,,to my surprise, they were made in Vietnam, of all places, and were of the poorest quality, and broke while installing them, and at $10 bucks a piece, I was pretty pixxed. I should have written Michelin about that. Take our young men, and you want me to support their economy with crappy merchandise? :biggrin_25513:

What you say is correct. But I can say as far as tires are concerned major name brands made overseas generally are better then the ones made in north America for the simple fact of the epa requirements for manufacturing here. Tires dot’d from plants in other countries don’t suffer from the same sidewall ozoning issues because they can still use ingredients not allowed here. Tubes are a different story. None of the Big Three (Mast, BFS, or GDYFS) make tubes anymore. That has been left to China and India. Gateway used to make the best tubes for 10-20’s and 10-22’s, but even now they smell like cheap Harbor Freight rubber out of the bag.
Bridgestone ( BFS) just recently got back on line. They were hacked and shut down for almost a month due to having a big plant in Ukraine and they were not going to close it upon Russia ‘s request.

    201 Thanks this.
