Sitting in Carlisle, PA getting loaded then heading for GA. I hope it's warm and sunny there.
I learned a couple of things a couple of days ago I thought I would pass on. You may already know this of course, but I did not!
Only use fuel additive(anti-gel) in BELOW 0 degree temperatures, unless of course the fuel is not treated to begin with.
The Sbar heater, use it in 20-30 minute cycles. IE when you fire it up run it for atleast 20-30 minutes before you shut it off. Also in reverse, if you shut it off don't fire it up again for 20-30 minutes. Also goes true for it doesn't fire up at all. Wait 20-30 minutes between try's. Guy at BRF educated me on this because of the fuel vapors, air mixture,etc..
I was sitting in Lake Station the other night and parked next to a Harley Davidson truck. Looked at it a saw a sticker that said "Operated by UPS Freight". I did not know that! Haha useless information.
Be safe out there guys/gals.

Well I'm sitting at a Pilot in Scranton, PA. Just when you think you've seen the worst Pilot ever, lo and behold you find another. Man this place is a small t/s pain in the ##### parking lot.
I have a 1000 delivery time in the morn, so parked the truck and grabbed a shower. Left Albany, GA yesterday morning. It was cloudy with slight rain. It has rained the whole trip up. It really go hard once I got out of GA and hasn't stopped. Right now showing 30 degree's and still raining like a #######.
A couple of days ago I picked up a load in Cartersville that was a 2 dropper. Did my pretrip on the trailer and found it had bad break pads on all the wheels. I really wish drivers would do their inspections on the trailers they hook up to instead of being lazy and not caring about the other drivers. It makes us waste valuable time waiting for the repair/s. New guys....DO YOUR PRETRIPS ON YOUR EQUIPMENT! That includes trailers.
Ok off my soapbox now. I hope everybody had a great weekend. Be safe out there.Hitman and 338-Dark-Knights Thank this. -
I live about 100 miles west of Scranton and it is all snow here and supposed to snow most of the night. They're calling for 10" to 14"'

Be safe man - I'll be rolling again in the morning. -
LOL I'm sure it's not the new drivers we have. I was just trying to stress to the newbies to not become like the lazy drivers. Hope you had a good break. Give me a shout when you get out on the road.
