No there's no DPF tank on this my truck. Really didnt want to deal with that. Loving the cummins and still working to get the shifting smooth like I had it on my old truck.

After a few days off I'm back to the grind. Had fathers day breakfast with the wife and step-daughter. Mostly laid on the couch resting watching the tube. it's funny I thought I would miss the tv but I really don't miss it at all. And when I do get home it's aggravating because it's 150 channels of #### and commercials.
Of course I picked up a beer load in Trenton this morn going to Sussex, WI. I can't deliver til the a.m. so I stopped at the Pilot at Oak Creek for the night. Only 30 miles away so I'm hoping to beat the traffic in the morn. They've got all the roads tore up and going every which way at the split.
Til next time! -

I agree with you 100%.....nothing but 150 channels of garbage I am paying for and only a few channels get watched. What I could do with that extra $50 a month! -
Sitting at dist. in Sussex, WI. Pulled in the gate and dock worker and supervisor were looking at a truck that slid its load to the side. No straps, no load locks. Also to me this just shows that he was probably taking the curves too fast since it only slid to the right side and not aft. The dock worker was going to let this driver re-stack on the dock in the warehouse where they have a/c. Supervisor said no way, we are not tying up a dock for hours for this. So he has to re-stack outside where it's warming up and humid. That driver is having a bad day.
Guys/gals....STRAP YOUR LOADS and TAKE YOUR TIME. Be the professional you are hired to be. Plus this will only protect your butt in the long run.rubberducky68 and leatherneck91 Thank this. -

Not really just dont be jerking the wheel around have to be nice and smooth with it. Most load shifts like what he was taking about happen from making a sudden jerk on the steering wheel

As Spanky said, it's not really a pain and have to be smooth. To me it's just a matter of slowing down and taking your time. Keep a good distance from traffic in front of you. This will help prevent you from having to hit the brakes suddenly. Yes you will be taught a proper way. Different drivers have different methods. As long as it's secure, that's the main thing.

Lets do a quick update. I left Sussex that day to Richfield, WI to pick up a load going to Cherokee, AL. Dropped in Cherokee and picked up a load out of the same place going back to WI. Dropped in WI, picked up in WI on Friday night to deliver in Midway, TN for Monday morn for first drop then on to Fletcher, NC for the second drop.
Got to stop by the house Saturday night to sleep in my own bed since there was no big hurry to get to TN. Left this morn and currently sitting at the Pilot at exit 4 on 81. Twenty miles from my drop so sitting for the night here so I can get a shower and coffee in the a.m. Other than than not much happening, just staying busy it seems, which is a good thing.
Seriously thinking about moving to TN somewhere around the Chattanooga area(not in City limits). Maybe N. GA, not sure yet but leaning to TN. Kinda up in spirits about that.
Run safe and run hard kids.rubberducky68 and Old MP Thank this. -
BEAR, you can't go wrong with northwest Georgia. I'm near Cartersville and we love it here. You can live in a small town (Cartersville, Adairsville, White, Calhoun) or out in the county. You'd love it down here.
