I myself would definitely recommend Millis, not just as a starter company but after your start as well. I said it before and I'll say it again. Is it the perfect company? No, there are ups and downs with any company. But overall they have been pretty good thus far.
Once in a great while somebody gets a load to Cali, but don't expect to see that because it happens so few times. Other than that, just like Baritone said everything is mostly east of the Mississippi.

Quick update... Came out off of home time on Wednesday. Picked up a load in Cincy going to Carlisle, PA. Delivered on Thursday and picked up load at same place so that made it nice. Got load going to Palmetto, GA where I delivered earlier today.
Met up with Baritone for a few and had a bite to eat with him. Always good to shoot the breeze with him.
Deadheaded to C'Ville because the MT trailer I picked up hadn't had an inspection since Feb 2010 and had a couple of marker lights out. Dropped trailer and picked up my load going 84 miles for 0445 delivery. Ughhhhhh. So here I sit at 0130 at T/A in Cartersville getting ready to pull out shortly. I think I may have got 1 hour sleep if I'm lucky. Gonna be a long day cuz after I deliver this morn I have to roll down to Hotlanta and pick up a load going to Wisconsin. I should come out fairly decent on miles for the week for having a couple of days home time, which is always good.
Run hard and stay safe guys and gals -
I've stopped at the T/A in Nashville for my 10 hour break. I went into the restaurant for chow and decided I would eat something sort of light so I got the chicken stir fry. There's this other dude sitting at the bar counter and while I eat my 1 plate of salad and 1 plate of stir fry, he goes through FOUR plates of steak and shrimp with baked potato. Come on dude, no wonder you have no neck and can't breathe when trying to look down at your phone.

I think truckstops should be like bars. The server can cut you off after so many, hahaha

I should clarify I'm not bashing fat people in general. I'm not too thin myself. But when you are already grossly overweight and sit there and eat that much, then that renders a bashing.

I delivered yesterday in Stevens Point, WI. Disp shot me a load going to Black River for same day delivery, so ran the 120 miles to BRF. Picked up a load out of there going to Gettysburg, PA for delivery tomorrow. Pretty much open window delivery til 2200, so no big rush. But the sooner I get there the sooner I can hit "ready for dispatch" and hopefully he'll have me something.
I'm sitting at the Pilot in Cambridge, OH for my 10 hr break. To everybody, avoid this friggin place. What a small craphole this is. About 20 parking spots maybe, and 3 showers. And they be looking nasty, so though I need a shower it will wait til tomorrow. No way I'm exposing this sexy body to what I saw inside.
First run of the week is over 900 miles so hopefully this is a good sign of a good week to come. Til next time.....run hard but run safe.
