Yep, I'm still here. Just sorta letting this thread die as @Steelersjunkie thread is so much more fun to read. Good talkin with you a couple nights ago. Funny, ain't nobody but truckdrivers up at 3 in the morning and sober.
Got my b service today in Richfield. Got new drive shoes, little rubber tits still on the tires. Gonna give that road sign on Indiana I-65 "Road Noise" a new meaning.
Life is good. Coming up on my anniversary with Millis and I'm gonna stay here. Comfortable trucks with horsepower, dispatch that knows you, big enough company that can weather a storm but small enough to know their own. Thanks David. I truly enjoy working with you.

I was bummed about having to motor down tje road so early man, was lookong forward to grabbing breakfast.
I'm always saying next time we'll grab dinner and it never works out so now I'm trying a new approach...
I wouldn't hang out with you if my life depended on it!!!!!!!
There, next time we run into each other we ought to have about 4 days to kill now.Farmer54 Thanks this. -
Just read the whole thread. I think it’s great. So if you bump a dock too hard, a camera goes off? Driver or forward facing?
-
Forward and driver facing. It's no biggie if ya hit too hard, more embarrassing than anything, well, unless you break something. I suppose if you do it too often you'd get a msg about. The cams aren't near as bad as people make them out to be.Rugerfan Thanks this.

Bump a dock, hook up to trailer, things like that can cause light to go red which means its on but its no big deal. Nothing gets said bout itRugerfan Thanks this.

So does it watch for like 30 seconds or so then turn back off? It sounds like Millis has a setup that isn’t recording full time?
-
Ya comes on real quick then goes right back off....its technically recording all the time as they can go back and watch but its not actively on all the time. Like I had my mirror ripped off by another truck in Atl while waiting get onto 285 and the guy kept going. My camera never flashed red showing it was on but when I called safety they had it pulled up on their computer within minutes showing the truck hitting the mirror. So they were then able to get the guys company off of it.

Had the same thing happen to me in Knoxville. Some ratty arsed Vulva was passing me on 40/75, drifted over and took the cover right off my left mirror. Camera never came on but I messaged the safety dept with my account of what happened. Nothing ever said.
The cameras are a good thing. I have fun with it when I drift a lane,,,, I'll say something really stupid that I know who ever is watching will just shake their head. When I park for my 10, my cap gets hung up over it. -
It's been a good couple days off. Didn't realize how much I needed it. Made a short run to XPO in Menominee Falls, loaded back in Hartford for NC Thu morning. I came back to Richfield tonight just cuz I like it here. 3 s's about 3 in the morning and I'm outa here. Y'all drive safe. G'night.
Suspect Zero Thanks this.
