Howdy y'all, new guy here from Kansas. My dad has always been a trucker and is an owner operator. I'm currently I'm aaviation school, but took a year off to make money.#I got my trucking start back in April by passing my CDL written and driving tests the first shot. I have combination, air brakes, and doubles/triples endorsements. I'm currently driving for a custom harvester also out of Kansas. Been living on the road for about 3 months nnow with just several days at home, with about 3-4 months left of harvest. I've driven Peterbilt 379's with 18 speeds, a T800 with an automatic(talk about a flipping joke),and most recently a W900L with a 500horse C-15 and 13 speed. Pulling 42' hoppers. I've also hauled numerous wide and oversize loads, from tractors and grain carts to combines with the header and trailer behind the combine trailer. I won't speak of the hours I've put in from day to day or miles driven (pleading the 5th) haha.I love what I do and I get paid to see the country. We started in Texas and go to the Canadian border. Part of me wants to remain in trucking after I get done here.#I'll keep this thread updated, and when I can find Internet, I'll add pictures I've taken, as they are on my computer, and I'm posting from my phone. My apologies for the lengthy message, and sorry if there's any grammatical errors, as I'm doing this on my cell phone. Thanks,Brady
