    I'm new to this site. Great forum here.
    I am gathering info to ramp up my business to do otr runs.
    Mostly small hot shot and on a part time scale right now.
    Learned a lot already, but have much more to learn from all of you.
    Looking to buy a truck and either sign on with someone, or continue with my own authority.
    Just need steady work.

    Good luck, you do not say how long you have been driving, so I am assuming not long. This is a great forum for new and older members I have found. As far as getting your own truck, well that you need to think over carefully as it is very costly and you need to build a client base.
    Trucking is steady work if your with a good trucking outfit and it also will depend on how long you have been driving. Check out "Good Trucking Jobs" "Then bad" Just know that not everyone will like the same company, but there are some you flat want to avoid.
