Depends on what's available on any given day, and the availability does change daily. Waiting for that long is more common in January because the truck manufacturers shut their production lines down over the holidays.

Well I guess I will find out on Friday after upgrade training is over if I have to wait or not. My wife wouldn't mind me being home for a week to spend some time with her. I'm sure she will put me to work around the house LOL.

Good luck to u bd.

Head on over to Success leasing and get on the list for a truck. Head on over there 1st thing in the morning or at lunch. If I remember correctly on Mondays all you have to do is the Smith System. I could be wrong though LOL. But I learned squeaky wheel gets the grease as far as Success leasing goes.

LOL! Hubby always says he's leaving to go back on the road to get some rest. When we came home for hometime (July 10) we had to build animal pens, transport animals (2x 75 mile round trips) plus return the truck/trailer. Help clean up house from pest control that occurred while we were gone. Take oldest around 1/2 of Tulsa to find her a vehicle. Take said oldest to the finance company to get the paperwork lined out on the loan for said vehicle. He got to Tulsa yesterday on a run w/ extra time on it....so....go out to the stables and help w/ work day w/ youngest; go get oldest, take her to pick UP her car; go to Muskogee, check SIL's Highlander, find out it isn't something he can do w/ the equipment he has available; take Highlander to Toyota dealership; go to Wagoner, check MIL's riding mower, decide that it is best used as target practice; go to grocery store on the way home (100 miles from Wagoner). Get home. Eat, Sleep. Get up, build more animal pens (we are setting up rotational grazing for our goats/sheep/cow). We're leaving in a few minutes to go get oldest AGAIN, take her to the parts store so she knows what oil/filter/wiper blades to get in the future. Then to Sam's and Petco. Then I'll drop him at the truck, and he'll drive to Lenexa, KS where he can finally get some actual rest.

Stick to the schedule and you'll do fine. You can't get a truck until you take Smith System, the maintenance class and the upgrade test on the simulator.
Sometimes those guys that try to get to the front of the line, end up at the back of the line.
Although this was a few years ago, we had a couple guys try and get a head start. Jumped on the shuttle at lunch and didn't get back in time for classes. It was noted and they ended up last to look at the list of available trucks.
if you are going company, don't bother bring late for anything by trying to pick out a truck, cuz you dont fet to pick. by just showing up fir company driver upgrade, Success Leasing already has your name on a list as needing a company truck that week. They will assign you a truck if you go company.Locrius Thanks this. -
There's a day on the schedule for company drivers to get their trucks. Going "early" will get you invited to come back when you're supposed to.

Thanks for the info IP i'll keep that in mind when i go company i have no intention on leasing but i have a while to go i still got my tnt training to do

Slim, ip is correct stick to the schedule. Be a lil early if possible cause early is on time. But after you complete all that is required they will call you to come inspect a truck . Take your time and be sure to note every imperfection on the sheets provided . You get plenty of time . Good luck and be safe.

You may change your mind about that, but make sure you give it a couple of years.
