Howdy Folks! I've been looking to get into OTR trucking after 20 years in the machining industry. I have my Class A CDL since before I started machining, and (wisely) maintained it. I used to pull a lowboy trailer for my dad's excavating company, but I never drove for a commercial carrier. In this modern day, the internet and forums like this seem to be the best place to find the truth about the industry, and offer the best insight to the companies that I'm looking at applying at. Thanks, and thanks in advance for the info. that I hope to find here.
