Who me? My knees aren't the best (already one stint in outpatient therapy at the age of 16) but I don't find it that big a deal to just leave it in gear for an average stop light.
-
Ok so when, are the only times, you need to use the, clutch brake?
-
Its not but it'll wear on you over the years.
Its a bad habit.
Or I'm just lazy xD. Probably the latter. -
You only push it to the floor when you are taking off and want to put it into gear.
1278PA Thanks this. -
lol
Make no mistake, I spend plenty of time in neutral when the situation calls for it. And my knees have no qualms about acting up when they aren't happy. Just sayin for the average stop light, that 20 seconds doesn't bother me and of course I float 'em. -
Ok so if you are stopped in gear then only need to hold the clutch in part way right? If you can start out from that gear.
-
I used to hold it when I had a 600 but that 660 clutch is a tight #####.
XD
I clutch skip up and float down.
I'm lazy...20 seconds of holding the clutch sounds terrifying&horrible. Lol! -
No if it is out of gear I just hold the brake.
If it is in gear you sit there for 20 seconds with it pushed in abit. Other foot still on brake.
It won't stall just sitting there out of gear. -
Lol sorry.... The answer was simply yes. To your question.
