I would like to say hi to all that read this. I been off of work for the last seven years licking my wounds after being hurt on the job and now im reddy to go back to work and have recently found out that all my driving expereince is no good and even though I have a class A with all the indorsments I will have to start all over again. So Im here trying to find a good company to work with any info would be apprecaited, I have been reading the good and bad and still dont know where to go yet.
I was thinking schneider but was never into the military atmosphir, ive spoken to three recruters and have been quoted three different pay rates now I dont know who to trust.
So that's why ive joined this site in hopes to get some good info.
So let me know thanks.

If you can get your own truck '05 or newer you can get hired doing intermodal these days and make way better $ and be home every night. As long as truck qualifies to enter rail yard that will counter the lapse in your work expeerience.
Go to craigslist Stockton and sac to see whose hiring for it....wind walker pays the best -
I would love to own my own truck and work for myself. If I had the money I would do that but the wife and I are holding down the fort by the grit of our teeth, We think we mite last two maybe three more months before we have to let the house payment go,
So I need to do somthing quick, Buying rig is somthing I can look into after I have a few paychecks in the bank.
I would consider doing that with a surefire plan.
I was looking for a linehaul when I ran into the time on the job brick wall.
Thanks for the info Ill do more research.

2 yrs ago with 4 1/2 pts on DMV and a suspended licence I didn't think I was going to be driving truck ever again let alone being an O/O and hauling ethanol but things have a way of working out....I will have no pts in a few more months and recently jumped thru every hoop the chp put in front of me to get hazmat transport license after one of their roadside Dot inspections revealed that a hazmat endorsement which I had was not enough and technically I could of been issued a misdemeanor for not having the actual license an O/ O is supposed to have issued by CHP. when I went for endorsement after finger prints were approved the clerk at DMV gave me endorsement and said I was good to go but failed to ask if I had my HAzmat transport license and the company I haul for thought I could run under theirs as well so what a surprise I had ....luckily chp didn't nail me for it and I paid the fees and got permit and passed BiT inspection and now am legal. Long story short.....if I can do it so can you....If you have hazmat you might be able to haul for company I'm with so let me know. If not you might need to go OTR for swift or find a small carrier willing to take you on.
Good luck !phylobedo Thanks this. -
I have hazmat my cdl is a tpx and no wants/warrnts I worked as a haul truck driver for a local company and constrution is shut down.
I was on work comp 4 years thank to arnold and when i was released to go back to work i was informed they shut down the night shift so i resigned and went back on the teamsters back to work list.
now im tired of the socialist thing but i do miss the money 26.74 Hr beets pennies per mls but this is a pride issue im proud to be an AMERICAN so i have no choice the job i had is gone and will be for a few years after we get rid OBOMA.
So if you want to drop a company name ill give a shot thanks man, I hope things go quicker for you to, life sucks woth no money you kno.
