Well...been a while but a lot has gone on. If anyone cares, I will update you on my life a yr later. I left Central Ref a few months after being on my own to go with another company (little more pay/hometime and of course the promise of more miles). I was getting in my final paperwork with a few companies and figured I would take a week or two off to spend with kids and besides my daughter was sick a lot and the Dr's couldn't figure out what. I thought this would also be a good chance to get some more Dr's opinions.
Turns out she has rhabdomyoma sarcoma...a rare form of childhood cancer...VERY RARE and it was stage 4. She has undergone Chemo and Radiation over the last yr so I took a local HVAC job. She had to have her treatments (one set for 3 months strait) in Little Rock which is 3 hours away from home.
Long story short she is gonna have her last treatment in Sept and I wanna go back on the road after that. i will have to go through training again so should I go central again or maybe Prime or FFE...what do you all think??? -
Went through every trucking job.com and I have submitted to several companies and I have to call back to CRS Monday. Getting stoked again as I have had several responses.

Talked to Matt at CRS and I am good to go to come back!!!!!!!!!! So, when I get a few weeks out from my daughters treatments/follow ups being over I am to call back and get my stuff in.

Holy Crap man! I'm so sorry and hope everything is going to be ok with your daughter! I can't imagine how tough that is on you and your family.
On a good note, Central is taking you back. At the very least you have a good source of making some $$$. I would even maybe pick up a trainee and do some training for extra money. This way you can knock out some good miles and then spend some time at home with your family.
I really wish you and your family the best. Better days are ahead of you! Good luck man, keep us informed. -
This is why it pays to leave a company the right way.

Thanks Chompi and onthego ... I liked CRS I left for th promise of more miles/ht but who knows what would have happened. I think Central is a good company and a great company for beginners. I was glad they were understanding that I could not give them an exact timeline yet and Matt was SUPER nice and very professional through the whole process.
Vinsanity: yes it does!!! I asked my DM if I needed to give 2wk notice but he said they really just route you back to the terminal when they can and you turn in your truck and exit paperwork at that point. NEVER ABANDON EQUIP!!!!chompi Thanks this. -
