Dispelling Rumor: No, he doesn't NEED doubles and triples for SWIFTs HH. Swift won't even consider him for Doubles training until he has at least 6 months solo under his belt, and then he has to ask for it.
Although, it's a good thing to have the endorsement on the licence. In WA, it's just an extra $10 and a silly written test.
I'm glad to hear he's enjoying training and learning. Wait 'til he gets his own rig. That's when the Real Learning begins...
