Another PACCAR Recall

On these recalls where Paccar doesn’t manufacture the recalled part does Paccar go back on the manufacturer to recover their lost money? Wonder what kind of insurance the manufacturers have to carry to protect themselves in this type of scenario.

 

Frankly nowadays just about everything made is junk..

 

My new 1988 Pete was caught up in the TRW steering gear recall. I was home in Wyo, I had ordered the truck thru OKC Peterbilt. The truck had been delivered to the Pete dealer and was across the Interstate at Panelite getting some stainless steel and lights put on. Peterbilt was going to send a wrecker over to get the truck since they were not to be driven. Les, the owner and founder of panelite says WTH? When I get done with the truck I'll drive it the 5 blocks to peterbilt myself. lol

Only one of the trucks on that list is a real Paccar product anyways.
