That's why I agree with @TripleSix on this one. Makes alot more sense from the point of view that she was probably a prostitute, then he started abusing her to much and finally she looked for a way out.
It probably started out as a willing endeavor, then turned into the horror show as described. As it does for many in sex trafficking and similar fields. He gives her the world then takes it away to the point she's no longer human, some at that point break forever, but some with to much fear or dignity left over find a way out.

Most of a degree in Forensic Anthropology helps,,, but the cases I was exposed to didn't end so well. Because we don't deal with "survivors."
"TwilightExpress" , not even cool vampires.Mtn Gal Thanks this. -
People do bad things to hurt others. I have come across Sexual predators in my life and in my family, fortunately for a variety of reasons Im one of the few lucky ones who did not get damaged like so many others.
Our school had a number of staff who were Sexual predators and remain on the list to this day after serving their terms. I remember one student, he was too pacifist and wont fight and there they abused him freely. Every time we asked him knowing something aint right he could not function because of the stress of the abuse was affect him in the mind.
One day this student broke in the night in our dorm. He was quietly removed from society to spend the rest of his days under the needle in a nice rubber room with a sunbeam for company. The staff member that did these bad things to him was discovered when he chose the next student and found that this student had no problem telling the authorities to go get him. (*The staff member) He got 15 years. And I can promise you those years were not good for him because Prisoners make sure to do really horrible things to sex offenders against children.
Trucking is supposed to be a profession in which serving the USA is something greater than yourself And if you had a good Woman (Or a good man if you are a lady driver) to enjoy each other regularly, fix meals, do dishes and go on dates together and grow old with each other in life with the possiblity of a good large family and so on so forth etc.
But not everyone is nice on the road. They are going to seek out babies, young girls etc. I'll say this. Im glad I never caught a driver with a young girl. It would have been something that would have caused me to suffer madness, the killing kind if someone else or many someones in the dinner room did not get to him first. But Im not naive nor stupid. I know #### well some bad things were going on but they managed to conceal that as far as I was concerned.Mtn Gal Thanks this. -
I thought prostitution was more of a PROFESSION than a science. Of course I'm sure that some of them have it down to a science.

In simple terms it means any sexual activity which is against the law. Whether it be for prostitution, making kiddie porn, or any other criminal activity.
I have a hard time understanding where you folks who don't see a problem with this dirt bag are coming from. Sounds like something out of the dark ages. "Oh she's a ##### anyway, so it's OK to do anything you want with her. File her teeth down, cut her up, set her on fire..."
When you've seen the results of some of this stuff first hand, it's a bit harder to seriously take the attitude "oh well, she was asking for anything she got." That is pure bull crap.
Even the most down and out scum, infested with lice and maggots, (yeah, unfortunately I've seen that on living human beings,) deserve better treatment than that. Even though it may be difficult to keep that in mind while you are dealing with them, and having to see and smell them.not4hire, Mtn Gal, 4mer trucker and 3 others Thank this. -
Sorry if anything I said may be construed that way, I'd like to see him hang, or have roughly the same thing done to him. I was explaining to Dave why she probably didnt make a break for it at first oppritunity. The article mentions she got on willingly. She was either Naive or had some idea of what she was doing.
She's a victim either way, dosent matter what she was, who she was. She was clearly being broken and abused. obviously kept in deplorable conditions. The Article is vague on how the DOT found her, but if she was in the passenger seat at that point, I'd wager the dirtbag thought he had her under his thumb, might have. And perhaps a very observant DOT officer was all that saved her, (well what's left.)
The guy deserves to be fed to some hogs. -
Same here. Guy's a piece of trash. I just have a hard time wondering how the girls were stuck in the truck so long without anyone knowing it.
Big Don Thanks this. -
Seems the previous victims were locked in the trailer, I can see no one finding them there. But the cab of the truck, that's a bit tougher. Psychological restraints are far more effective than any other. If the victims are too afraid or have lost the will to fight, it's a easier for this to go unnoticed, even to the point he could let them out of the truck and they come back.
Not really Stockholm syndrome, though it can be. Kinda the opposite, instead of sympathetic with thier captors, just more afraid of thier captors than god himself. And the victims own self worth is usually chipped away so badly during this process they have no or little desire to escape any longer.
I could go into more painful detail, but would rather not. It's a place that most normal people will never go, and it's absolutely horrifying/sickining/enraging to see someone who's been there. -
@FerrissWheel, I didn't take anything you said to be a problem. There were several posts that I just can't understand where folks are coming from. But your's wasn't one of them.
FerrissWheel and x1Heavy Thank this. -
My problem is with the media and their version of the truth.
If convicted, the only thing he will be convicted ofa is the Mann Act.
But waitaminute...what about the kidnapping, rape, mutilation and bondage and all the rest of the crimes against humanity?
If the only thing the media had mentioned was that a driver violated the Mann Act, I seriously doubt that any of you would even bother to post. But it seems that they apparently want to take your mind to a different train of thought. Kind of like the Pied Piper of American adults.
How do you know that article is true?
Years ago, some cops got into a scuffle with a guy on the street. Big guy, 400 lbs. He broke 2 pair handcuffs. They finally got him down and the guy died. The news reported about how some white cops killed an unarmed black man. Of course now, it's a hate crime and people like Al Sharpton come to town to stir up the black people.
5 cops, 2white 3black, but the media reported that white cops killed a black man. And they never mention why they were trying to arrest him. He punched out a black waitress for cutting him off when he got drunk.
But that's not news.
Same goes for this story. If this guy did a fraction of what the news said he did, the DA wouldn't have settled with the Mann Act.
Not with the alledged multiple cases with multiple women.
Not with an alleged truck load of evidence.
If they had this guy by the balls, they should have hung him. For them to go after the Mann act, they should hang the DA too.
Then again, i don't live in the matrix and am not influenced or controlled by the media.Tug Toy, Snailexpress, bottomdumpin and 2 others Thank this.
