Was at DMV and got a printout of my full driving record, and the only violations shown is a 2014 conviction for speeding... although the printout says the conviction says driving an unsafe vehicle???... However I had an accident in 2020 that I was at fault for, and it doesn't show... should i put that i had an accident or just attach my drivers record with the resume??
Thanks again for all your knowledge...

Better to be up front. Worst thing to hear someone start with in this business is..."Why didn't you tell us about.................."

Then again my approach to doing things is do the opposite of what most people do.

That was my initial thought, it was 2 years ago so shouldn't be too big of a deal, and better than someone finding out after being hired...

It won't be found after being hired. What will happen is your info will be given to the insurance company, and when they see the wreck, but you claiming not to be in a wreck, they will simply not even contact you.

If there was any kind of a claim paid it is in the CLUE database. This is something I tell people all the time. Tell the frickin truth on those applications. Don't volunteer information. Just answer honestly the questions asked. Many a driver has been sent home from orientation for doing this.

Insurance companies know more about you than the govt.

A little off subject but you should talk to jobs you are under qualified for. Find the one you want and see what it'll take to get hired. Then do it.
I work for an incredibly good company but I'm trying to get the required experience to go after another company I want to work for.
Treat every job as a stepping stone. Work hard, be thier best employee and make yourself valuable. Then move on.

    Indeed.

When getting insurance for my personal hauler MDT, I found out my perfect driving record wasn't such. Progressive had me listed as having an "at fault" accident over a damage claim when I was a wrecker operator (I don't know of anyone who has done that job for more than a year without someone trying to file a claim for damage along the way, especially in the Private Party Impound realm). No moving violation... not even a crash. But a damage claim for something unrelated, and the insurance side had me as having an at-fault for 3 years (It fell off a month after I secured that policy).

    Vision and Chinatown Thank this.
