Another running under my Authority

    So are you stating, let me no if I am correct, that if I have my own authority, my own insurance (liability and cargo) and I am active, I have a guy that want to run his truck under my authority, I agree, and I could contact my insurance company, place cargo coverage only on his trailer and not have to place liability on his truck and this will cover my business? and cargo for broker? but he will be responsible for himself if no insurance at all? or if he has insurance?

    That dude ain't been been on here in 5 years....?
    Carrier carries liability insurance on vehicles, whether you backcharge a guy directly that's leased to you is up to you. Or charge enough percentage that it covers the insurance increase.
