    If you booked a load a 100 miles out or more they can ask you to drop that mt at a location thats on the way or way out of your way and then have you get another mt somewhere else( item 17 in the contract)
    It depends on the current trlr pool at the time.

    Well, here’s a post I didn’t think I’d have to consider.

    We have suffered a few pretty costly setbacks, mostly having to do with a rental house we are selling and a son that suffered a significant eye injury recently and therefore needs some assistance. For those reasons, along with the fact my new career takes time to build, I am considering returning to the road for a year or two.

    I do not relish being a company hand anywhere, but I can’t eliminate that option. Choice allowed me to do what I needed to do, which is all that matters. I’m going to call my old rep tomorrow and speak to her. Probably make a decision by weeks end.

    Bummer. But it is what it is.
