It's a castle nut with a cotter pin, even if it wasn't torqued to the proper specs it's not going to come apart.
BTW, it also includes every major truck manufacturer.

Castle nut, torque to 135 lbs, than turn to the first hole for cotter pin.

what is it, these truck makers charge big bucks for thier crap, yet don;t have the proper tools to build them with?
you know too, supposedly the dealership is supposed to check out things as well, it is called "pre-delivery", guess no one actually does anything, except make sure we pay for that as well.magoo68, Mattflat362 and Sharky88 Thank this. -
