25ish years ago there was a case in the Dayton Ohio area of a male teacher being fired for sex with two female students. They couldnt prosecute him because the AOC in Ohio is 16 and both girls were 16.

After the teacher was fired he sued for wrongful termination and eventually won. No law on the books at the time regarding teacher/student relations and district policy only covered students in a given teachers classes.

Take a C average student. If he complies he might end up getting a B, if he doesn't a few homework assignments "don't get turned in" and his participation grade goes down too dropping him to a D, making him inelligable for sports. A teacher has a lot of power over kids.

Or say there is no quid pro quo or retaliation but the kid now doesn't trust authority figures, thus stops listening and the train of imaginary horribles continues.

Now flip the script - say it was a 25 year old male teacher with a student (male or female) - would y'all be high fiving still? Or if she were 45, weighed 200lbs and smelled like French cheese?

 

I'm sorry, but there is a difference in the real world between a 16 year old boy and a 16 year old girl. Physiologically, psychologically, emotionally, socially.

I'm not saying that we should encourage female teachers to diddle all the students they want, not at all. But in the real world there's a difference between the sexes.

True, except for the horn dog aspect. Boys beat girls to the punch on that. Perhaps that is why boys are dumber longer, they have not learned how to think with the big head, yet?

I am only asserting there is a difference between boys and girls. They are not the same. Fundamentally, biologically, socially, emotionally, physically, sex is different for boys than for girls.
