Another Walmart bans truck parking Jasper, TN Exit 152 on I-24

A lot of municipalities are banning truck parking: this is hard on even those of use who are pulling Walmart trailers! We can’t even park at a Walmart we deliver too if the municipality has banned truck parking...

 

When a town's nimby political class can fine Walmart for allowing sleepy truckers to park on their own private property instead of tearing up the road then we know that this whole administrative state has home too far.

In my town the local police fined a little girl's parents for allowing her to have a lemonade stand. Got to follow those Health regulations ya know

 

Look up the public records on the property, find the owner's contact information, and light those phones up. Fill their mailboxes up with letters. Do the same with the Town of Kimball (not Jasper) should they be involved. That's what people did when Warner Robbins, GA enacted an ordiance banning truck parking and they ended up reversing it. We can make a difference but sitting on a forum and complaining about it does nothing.

 

You can try, but this is about already having to clean up from people parking.

 

someone having the means does not automatically qualify them as the responsible party.

i have the money to pay your bills, why do you think i need to? your bills are not my responsibility.

a large parking lot (anywhere) can accommodate trucks - why does everyone think they’re entitled to park there?

 

The truck owners should provide their own parking including 1 truck owners.
