antenna question

    ok...gonna get the lil wilson....paid $18 and change w/shipping! not bad. from there maybe a 1000 wilson,lets see difrence cause the one i got now is RUSTY by the spring and weathered for 3-4 years in the north:biggrin_2551:. GOTTA BE A DIFFRENCE with lil wil...i hope:biggrin_2554:

    next...tune,peak,align...put kickers,ect....lol:biggrin_25515:

    40 miles....u mustive been on a hill.....your unit is STOCK with what, a tune and peak is all thats done RUSTY...and a tall antenna?

    No I wasn't on a hill, i was on my driveway at my house talking a good 40 miles. that was before i got my kicker installed. if you find the right tech that knows what they are doing, then you will get hooked up. You will be surprised how far you can get once somebody tinkers with it correctly.

    Now, i talk farther than that since I have my kicker installed.

    I agree. I wish I had my old mechanic back; he was actually a television repairman, went into radio, then got sick of the local trailertrash cb'ers, and went into Ham repair only.
    Odd thing is, he was a West Virginia hillbilly with a savante talent for electronics.
