Antenna Recommendation

    It only gets really complicated if you're shooting for perfection. Any antenna that will allow you to get close to that 1:1 swr will keep your radio safe. Years ago I ran one of the Francis 5.5 ft antenna with a Galaxy 93t and it worked out good for me and all the listening ears. Is there better setups? Yeah. The truck it was run on was an antique like, nearly full metal, mostly crap dump truck. Had this setup for 7 + years with no problems.

    102" whip doe get out the best... If you don't own the rig and drive for someone else that puts you in different trucks, like me, Wilson or K40 are the best magnet mounts around. IMHO the K40 is noticeably better, that's hy you ill pay more for it. Either will do you well.
