So i'm currently in the process of upgrading my antenna system,I have a 4ft skipshooter on a spring, with a tram heavy duty stud,on a birdperch on my volvo.
I'm looking to maybe upgrade to a predator, but I'd like to upgrade the stud aswell.
Can anybody recommend a good stud,or where to look for a good stud thanks.

Did you have to reroute your coax in order to bypass the multiplexer? If so, did you have to remove panels?
-
Yeah I just have it running to the top of the door jam, can't do the mirror routing at this time.
When I had my freightliner I ran it under the hood to the firewall behind the dash, but these volvo's it's just to much work to take the mirror's apart, knowining my luck as soon as I did it my company would have me switching trucks. -
Method240, Slowmover1 and Finfn1372 Thank this.

2). SS Wilson spring
3). TOP GUN TEC antenna stud

If your going with a Predator 10K...Go with the Predator 10K stud-mount...matches up perfectly with all the Predator 10K antennas since they are made by the same company!

Probably best to specify the
H/D stabilizer stud with terminals since the H/D stabilizer stud with SO239 is only as strong as the 25-cent bottom half..jessejamesdallas Thanks this. -
you can still get the Predator stud mounts with so239 or lug connectors. like $25
