Antenna Stud

I only use the terminal mount version...The other with the S0239 connectors strip out too easy if over tightened...but some people like the screw on connectors, which are "OK" as long as you don't get carried away tightening the coax on a pair of pliers or vice grips...finger tighten only.

 

239 is for ease of use only. lug is better connection imo

 

Was about to type same thing....I bought one from walcott and didnt take it apart till a later date...Yeap the bottom of it is as cheap as it gets...

 

They are fixable if you can find someone to make you a plastic insulator to put inside it.

 

Naw they remind me to much of the cheap trk stop type..Never gonna trust them
