    Don't want to steal the thread but I been looking for a good repair shop in the area. Is Cigar Man open on Saturdays? It's about an hours drive/ride but for a good technician, it'll be worth it.

    SCOPE FOR SWR :biggrin_25513: I don't use any of my 3 scopes to tune radios EXCEPT to look for trash outputs on the spectrum scope ....

    He is, I think he's open until noon.

    Which is what he does-I was talking about tuning the radio to spec, not the SWR, the OP has a 2 watt carrier. I only mentioned the scope so that it's clear that he doesn't just crank it up into a meter and call it good.
