Some one try to steal my fuel and pushed my siphon guard down and fell in my fuel tank. What is the best way to remove it and get out of the tank thru the opening.

Remove the fuel tank from the truck.
Go to lowes and purchase a hand held
    Concrete saw.
The same ones you see them using cutting
Up the highway with all the time.
    Cost about 1000 bucks.

Buy a metal cutting blade for it. 100 bucks.
Drain all the fuel, then cut a big hole in the
    Side of the tank.
Remove you 20 dollar siphon Gaurd.

Then throw every thing on the back of
Your pick up truck and drive to the closest
    Fab shop in town.
Have them reweld your tank back together.
    400 bucks.

Reinstall tank and fill with fuel.
    Go trucking.

    Saw 1000
    Blade 100
    Welder 400

    Cost 1500
And a week down time to recover a 20 dollar part.
Or you could just leave it in the tank.

I don't see anybody else with any bright ideas.

First you need to get a lighter so you can see it inside the tank.

Pull bolts off fuel tank bands from frame. Slap the junker truck tank into the bands rebolt onto frame.

    Transfer fuel. Toss old tank.

    thats too easy.
Whole lot more fun to cut a big
Hole in the side of the tank.
He could brag about for years at the iron skillet.

    Rideandrepair and River9601 Thank this.
