Is the test all multiple choice. Just curious, I have moved to chapter 9

    Yes it is. A. B. C. or D. ;)

Remember, you can skip a question you don't know, and won't have to answer it at the end if you get enough correct. Basically, once you get the minimum correct, you pass...

& here's the thing with most "multiple guess" type tests.... if you're not sure of the correct answer...

One answer will usually be obviously dead wrong.

Another can usually be dismissed via common sense as maybe "close but no cigar".

Which leaves you with a 50/50 shot at getting it right.

If you have a semi-decent grasp of the material & a minimal amount of common sense you can pass the written tests without much trouble at all.

Personally, I got one wrong on Gen.Knowledge... aced Air Brakes, Combos, Tankers, & Doub/Trip... & missed two on HAZMAT.

& HAZMAT was the only one I forced myself to actually study a bit for.

Do a bunch of the free online practice tests... you'll find it's not as bad as you may be thinking.

thanks everyone for the info I passed my cdl test and got all my endorsements, I failed the maneuvers the first time but passed with just the skin of my teeth the second time 12 is passing and 13 is failing I got a 12 and on the road test of 21 out of 31 but I was grinding some gears so 10 of my points where on that so I guess I didnt drive that bad at all. I just have trouble backing up but if i do it enough I should get it.

I did both. But to be honest, the book for a regular license is 2 bucks also.

And yeah, 2 bucks can break you when you don't normally carry any cash and your local DMV only takes cash...:biggrin_25512:
