Hmm well I see your point,,,They gave you a bag and a jacket, and when they(Conway) took over your company made Your miles go down and truck slower,CFI ceased to exist when CONWAY bought us,,,

At that time CFI was "Giving" me $1000-1500 a week constantly every week,We had 70 mph trucks and didnt hire scrubs

    3 years later,,,,Not so much,,BUT making a living

What happens if the finisher is sleeping while you are driving Marinedriver? Also when should you use the cruise control? Example: night, rain, snow, fog, traffic etc. Questions that have come up.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the Finisher is in the passenger seat the entire time you are driving. You the student do the driving. Just what I was told, could be different.

You are absolutely correct. Finisher is in the passenger seat when you are driving.

When We were CFI you had to have at least 2 years verified OTR driving with a spotless record(my orientation class was a mere 8 people, thats all the open trucks we had)

Then We lowered them to 3 months of OTR ,hence every scrub driver that couldnt hack it at said former scrub company came a running,,and now listen to the daily report??? dozen or so accidents a DAY,,have your looked at our CSA???

Read on and look at our monthly violations,,and that put us on ELOGS

Well, then I have to say that I am somewhat offended by your scrubs comment. I came there as a complete rookie. I only lasted three months before I made the mistake of leaving. I do plan on returning as soon as I am able. Not all new drivers are incapable of handling a truck, I am one of those. I have received compliments on my ability to handle a truck from more than one 30 yr vet. I do have to agree with you about the # of accidents...it is ridiculous. I would be more concerned about the # of power/terminal issues (lack of trucks to cover the loads).
