Dry box can earn 55 cpm +perdiem no touch frieght,i own my own truck and at the end of the day after insurance and minor repairs fuel ,i clear about 11,000 for 16 -18 days of busting balls ,at least 6 20+ plus hour days.at todays rate you would clear about 25 percent. 3000 ,and get 1099,with no benefits.thats only a salary of about 4000 per month after taxes,if you drive 14,000 miles per month, never home.dry van would pay 6600 for 12,000 miles .about the same if you dont damage any thing.

There is a couple threads of companies that train is you want to go that route.

Off the top of my head (this isn't current info) do a search or call....
    Centurian
    Moore
    United Road
    Proficient

If you have a good amount of long haul experience and a clean record a lot of companies that don't train will train.....At least thats how it was for me when I crossed over from freight hauling.

Most companies pay 25% of load and 1099 you ####ty companies take fuel out before the 25 percent.

    If they are 1099
Drivers that are not true sub contractors or leased operators than they are not legit.
