Any companies out there that hire people with a DACA work permit? Help

Which city are you in or near in Texas. Maybe some other choices that hire with a cdl permit.

You will need somehow a residence on your CDL A when you get ahold of one. (Plus your birth certificate etc)

 

Follow @Chinatown advice. Don’t get discouraged. You’ll find a job as long as you have a work permit, you’ll be ok.

 

Hello I'm trying to get a cdl as well I am in Dallas and same with daca. I have read some conflicting posts about getting a cdl I was born in Mexico. From what I have read is that if you are from Mexico or Canada you would need to get a cdl from there. Where were you born? You also mention that you are sure its possible maybe you are from different place. If not is there any info you could give? Thanks

 

My insurance (underwriters) company requires that you have a green card to work for me. The a DACA status individual is NOT allowed to be hired by them because (NOT MAKING A POLITICAL STATEMENT) of the inconsistency of congress to pass the laws to allow it to exist in the first place. The program is unconstitutional through an EO and has been legally sunset with the repeal of that EO and this was put into their policy when it happened and informed those who hire legal resident drivers like me.
