Im wondering if you guys know of any companies that will allow recent CDL graduates with no experience to lease on to them?? I'm not looking to lease a truck FROM them. I have my own truck. I'm just looking to run under another company's numbers. I'm aware most want experienced drivers. Just wondering if there are any exceptions out there? Appreciate it!

Why would you want to lease with no experience? I watched people do that at Burlington Motor carriers when I first started driving. All went out of business real quick Good luck...you will need it..

    Be advised..

any company that will "lease" you on, will be making money.

You are NOT the leasing (trucking) companies target audience. Everything is roses until you tell them you have a tractor you want to lease on to them.

My experience, and I have 5 years of verifiable OTR logs ready to pdf, and a credit score of 750 for the business...

Prime, LGT, US Cryo, Heniff, Bruce Oakley, KAG all turned me down when I said I already got a truck. And it was a myriad of excuses. Doesn't suit us, wrong motor, shorter wheelbase, too heavy, not set-up for our operation, but you could buy their truck (my same setup) at 30% apr and they'd be fine with it.

I'm a tanker guy and the only company that met my criteria was Schneider.

Flatbedders can do better, Melton and Maverick come to mind, I dunno, don't follow skateboards too much.

Seems kind of crazy to buy an expensive piece of equipment for a business you have no experience in but to each is own. You may have to find a company driver job to get some experience before running your own truck as a lease op.

Curious why Bruce Oakley turned you down. Trucks running there seem to be all over the board as far as hoods and aero and wheelbase lengths.
