So, if you want to run and stay out, can you maintain a schedule, or will there be times when they will put you on night runs and other times they will put you on day runs? Can you choose to only do day runs?

The main obstacle is getting away from your main terminal. I used to rotate to days and stay on days in the odd event I was dispatched out at night. Turn on your 10 and before you know it you'll be on days. I'd stay out purposefully to avoid going home when they have you set to.

When I was a Tuesday start, depending on where I'm at, I'd stay out. West Texas is an automatic stay out for me lol. You can work it in your favor. You get a bad week in the east, I go home immediately. I go out west, I stay out. If you can run they'll feed you regardless.

So I have tried Walmart that was mentioned. I said nope to them after wanting me to pretty much fill out 2 applications. First one I imported info from LinkedIn. So I didn't need to bother looking up dates. Then got a email for a background check thing. It literally asked me who I worked for. Hey Walmart I already gave you this information.

Estes never contacted me indeed application. So seems like their a no go for me.

I actually thought maybe can see what prime offers. Turns out they want people with tanker experience. Prime out of all companies wants experience. Also they said .57 cpm. Which is more but not enough more to touch prime.

So based on a email I just gotten from Oakley. Looks like they might not train currently because they don't have enough tanker trucks. Unsure fully. I'm still waiting on the letter from the state for my hazmat test

Bro just redo the Walmart application AGAIN then. What's the big deal? Do you want the money or not? Just have 2 tabs open... Copy and paste... Simple.

So I actually did attempt it again. Walmart wants to know the name of a person at previous jobs. I have no idea and it's required. Only person I know of. Is the name of the ####### of a dispatcher I had at CRST. Which was in 2017

Currently Walmart isn't on my list of companies I'm thinking about. Currently it's just Oakley and R. F Chamberland. Second one is a small outfit out of Maine. Both will give more pay than I currently get. Pretty much it's either tanker or dry/reefer. Also Volvo vs Peterbilt.
