Thought they were already married for years. Our local old school hardware store has been either true value or do it best parts for at least a decade. Delivery trailers have both names on them.
In the upper Midwest, True Value stores were the ‘gold standard’ for years, almost as good as Sears & Robuck. My first set of tools I bought were ‘Master Mechanic’ by True Value, still have most of the set.
