Ok I'm going to ask an it may sound like Begging. Well it is at this point. We all know somebody out there that is looking for a Co-driver. Well thats what i used to say. Now I'm desperate!!! Yes I am a patient person,Yes I am a good driver! Yes i am Trustworthy!Yes I have a current CDL class "A" w/doubles&triples. Yes,my work history sucks! due to so many child custody changes, costing me job after job. yes i have references,i'll introduce you to them if you'd like! YES I'M BEGGING!!! if there is a driver looking for a Co-driver to run team with her or him for a few months to a 2yrs if needed????? Please??? Is there someone out there that would even give me a try???? I have a resume, work history, work ethic is very strong!!
Or does anyone know a company that might let me come on even with 9yrs otr experience as a trainee??????????
So Talk all you want, say what you will. I'm not giving up on my dream of being a trucker! I've hauled Cars, I've pulled some oversize loads on flatbed, step deck and on one step deck extended trailer. I've pulled refer, dry van and dry van with 2-4ton electric overhead crane in 48 to 53ft trl. the arms extended 8ft out the trl doors.i've pulled flatbed mostly. the only team driving i've done was in 1997 when i was grandfathered in(no trucking school grad here!!). like most of you, I've been through every kind of weather nature could throw at us. i've been in one avalanche and came out scared but no injured and no one else got injured. Yes ui have a Jack knifefeb. 2006 I-84, i was the only one involved,no citation by Oregon DOT, One speeding ticket for 57mph in a 55 zone uphill on the grapevine, in California 2007.
So if you want to talk to me write. if you wanna talk about me write. if you want to know more...write.
Be Safe Out There![]()

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Any Drivers looking for Co-Driver for a year or two?

Anything small or locally you could get hooked up with? Maybe you can find someone on here who is O/O who knows someone who knows, word of mouth to at least get you employed first. Just an idea, I wish you good luck on your search and hope you keep us updated.
Bayou_baby Thanks this. -
Crusher, thank you for the best wishes. I have tried just about every avenue of seeking employment. I've my resume on truckjobseekers.com, truckjobs.com,and careerbuilder, and atleast 9 other sites. even on hotjobs.com. i have filed for my DAC,my7 free annual credit report, and filed at a lawyers office and with IRS for ID theft. I've been in contact with at least 12 different agancies to try to find out what is the deal with my inability to get hire and no one can find the problem. but maybe i'm not asking the right people. or the right questions. not sure the deal. but i tried the local deal and right now in my situation, my bronco is illegal,no paperwork. title and reg. lost. and no job i can't get new papers yet. without tranpsortation its very hard to actually get out there to find a local job and be able to keep it..
I know it sounds like excuses, and believe me i have tried to make arrangements to ride share as some folks call it. but just when you need your ride they backout.
so yes i am still trying to get on local,,but no luck. I do know some O/O out there but they're wives won't let it happen. the trucking companies i have talked to said if i could get someone to help, and get a notarized statement to send in with app and resume they may give me a second look. I have to show atleast 2days in a commercial vehicle and show that i know what i'm doing on the note. I have talked to Mr. Tarver,a local trucking company owner, and he said it wont be soon, but he can help. So i catch him when i can to check in.
so again thank you. and i will keep yall posted. -
You can stay your definitely done your share of homework. It surely does suck to be out of a job at this time. I would keep doing what your doing and maybe something will come up. I am going to check into a another driver (Female) that was interested in teaming with someone. I am not totally sure of the situation but remember exchanging emails with her. Will look into it, no promises or anything.
