    Ill be 23 in july, will have 5 years in, 3 wonderful years of that being trapped in the wonderful small state of MA due to a intrastate restriction, and sorry but most of the OTR is going down hill and when the baby boomers retire they will be more steering wheel holders, my advice is get into doubles/flats/dump wagons/tankers or peddling product, the areas where they are to lazy or stupid to go to. me...we I dont think your going to get me out of drivers seat without a fight

    I got my CDL at 20, from the Teamsters (couldn't even be put on insurances at the time). I'm 31 now, and drove off and on ever since; all I can say -- even driving 8 years ago was better than present day; I've been looking to make bank, and trucking hasn't been "it"!

    8 years experienced here. 29 yrs old - still catch flack from the "senior" drivers who are biased against the younger crowd.
